I also have some snap peas, mini bell peppers, and a few other leftover seeds from last year. I’m extra excited to start some perennials from seed this year since I’ve never done it before. I’m interested to see how long it takes for them to become established in the garden.
Why start seeds? I start seeds because 1. You have access to varieties that might not be available to you at your local garden center 2. It’s something to do in the throes of winter 3. It’s fun to watch something grow from a tiny little seed to a full-grown plant. YOU did that. Or at least you helped it do that. How cool is that?!
Plants I’ll buy: trees and shrubs, perennials that I’d prefer to be a bit more established, maybe some fun annuals I see while at a garden center and can’t help myself.
