New Patio in a Small Space

This client wanted a new patio in her small city backyard. We worked together on several layouts and placements for the patio to maximize patio space, lawn space for her dog, and also incorporating garden beds. Since they are so close to the neighbors’ yards, we also focused on adding in privacy shrubs that will grow tall and skinny to create a cozy feeling in the yard without taking up too much real estate. I designed the planting plan (they chose the Full Design option) and the client had a landscaper lay the patio and install the plantings.
